Hi I’m Jodie and I’m putting this out for a family that is close to me. Just over 3 years ago my friend Katie gave birth to araya believing she was going to be a healthy baby. Katie and Zak’s world came to a standstill when they learned that araya had mobius syndrome along with other complications which has meant she has a tracheostomy and is peg fed. Araya is such a strong hearted little girl and has faced so many challenges throughout her short life, but the support from the NHS only goes so far. At this point the fundraiser and any money raised will go towards physio as she currently only receives one session a month on the NHS and this is nowhere near enough to help her build muscle tone. Physio could help Araya with much of her daily life potentially get her standing and with hope even walking. It’s a big ask but if anyone is able please can we pull together for this darling girl and give her a hope for a brighter future. Her mum and dad have been full time carers for her since birth and have battled to get the bare minimum for her I really think they deserve a break and a chance for Araya to get what comes naturally for most children ❤️
