Anton has been a close friend of mine for many years, and his life has been filled with challenges that most people never have to face. Over the years, Anton has struggled with homelessness and unemployment, often finding himself without a safe place to stay or a steady source of income. Several years ago, he suffered a severe head injury that changed the course of his life, making it even harder for him to get back on his feet. Despite these setbacks, Anton remained determined and eventually secured a job at Amazon. Unfortunately, while working there, he suffered another head injury. Due to difficulties with paperwork and missing deadlines, his workers' compensation claim was denied, leaving him without the support he desperately needed.

Now, Anton is unemployed once again and was recently evicted from his apartment. He is currently living in a garage with no heat or running water, and his application for food stamps was declined because he couldn't volunteer enough hours. The only financial help he receives is from me, but as an 80-year-old on a fixed income, I am limited in what I can provide. Anton is in urgent need of help from our community.
