Help Anthony survive law school

Hello there,

As you may know, my name is Anthony Buenrostro, and I just graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville with Bachelors degrees in Theology and Philosophy. The last year of my schooling saw me finishing up the last of my required courses, and studying for an exam that has radically changed the course of my life. In early-February of this year I undertook the LSAT (Law School Admittance Test), and was greatly gifted with a full-tuition scholarship to attend Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida. Since then I have made many preparations to secure a room for myself, bid my temporary, yet sorrowful goodbyes, and much more. It has been a year filled with vigor and questions, but I am grateful to say that my heart and mind are settled, though my knees may tremble and my teeth chatter in thinking of the mountains I must soon climb.

Now, we find ourselves at the cusp of a new leg in the adventure of life, as I am present in Naples, Florida, in a tad moldy 2-bedroom apartment, with no roommate, furniture, or decoration in sight. A ghastly, yet all too common happenstance for a modern young man who is in pursuit of greater education.

As I have many needs and few means, both to spend and procure, I humbly ask for your assistance. For it has come to my attention (at the very least through the testimony of upper class men and administrators), that one ought not seek employment their first semester of law school. Why that is, I have not yet the experience to tell you why. But if my experience in undergraduate taught me anything, it is that when the stakes are high, so must effort be. Given that I am taking steps towards providing for a family and myself, I think it safe to say that the stakes are indeed high, and so the efforts must match. For if I am to provide, regardless if I be a lawyer or not, I must begin giving my all to my labors in the hope that the laborer shall receive his reward in due time. As it stands now, my material and monetary rewards are few, and as I shall be absorbed in books and stuffy rooms for the next several months before I can say I have completed my first semester, I bid your generosity and charity. Tis not mine to demand nor to expect. Thus, if you cannot share monetarily, I simply ask that you share your spirit of joy and encouragement, as I am set to embark on a journey wholly new and challenging.

With love,
Anthony Buenrostro
