Hi, my name is Lileath and I’m raising funds for my father, Anthony, who is trying to rebuild his life in Jamaica after losing everything.
My father was recently deported from Germany and sent back to Jamaica after almost 30 years away. He returned to Jamaica with nothing but the clothes he was wearing — no belongings, no savings, and no support system in place.
What makes this even more heartbreaking is that before he even arrived, Hurricane Melissa had already struck and completely destroyed his home. So when he returned to Jamaica, he didn’t even have a house to go back to.
He came back to:
- No home (his house was completely destroyed by the hurricane)
- No belongings at all
- No stable income
- And only limited help from nearby family who are also struggling
He is essentially starting from absolute zero.
Right now, Anthony is doing his best to survive day by day, but he truly needs help to rebuild his life with dignity.
The funds raised will go toward:
- Securing housing or rebuilding a place to live
- Basic furniture and household supplies
- Food and daily necessities
- Clothing and personal items
- Any emergency or medical needs
My father is not asking for much — just a chance to start over after losing everything to circumstances completely beyond his control.
