Guiding Eyes has loaned a harness to Anthony so that he and Lindsey will be able to work together again while a custom harness is being made. It will take approximately three months to get.

Guiding Eyes is the organization that specifically trained Lindsey for Anthony’s needs. They are located in Yorktown Heights NY.

We have surpassed our goal and are overwhelmed with the outpouring of contributions and concern for Anthony and Lindsey. We truly live in a city of good neighbors and no words can express our gratitude for your support.

All funds less monies needed to prevent this from happening again will be donated to Guiding Eyes so another person may have the same freedom that Anthony has.

Please share! My cousin Anthony Parise is a blind, multiply disabled man who works at the Home Depot on Niagara Falls Blvd. in Amherst. Last night at approximately 8:00 PM, his Guide dogs harness was stolen off of the top of her crate. It is a brown leather harness with an offset handle and it had a blue handle sleeve with the words “guide dog do not touch. Do not pet do not look at” in big bold, bright yellow capital letters. His dog works on his right, so the offset is on the right side, which keeps him a little bit away from her body. The harness itself has a set of buckle straps with metal ends. (Like in the picture). It also has fake wool on the underside of the harness. this is not a standard harness that can be purchased in a store or even online. It is a specific harness for Guide work and it was specifically made for his dog And molded for him personally . His guide dog is unable to work right now and I would ask that whoever did this, please return it. It is a necessity for safe and effective mobility, and what has transpired is not taken lightly. He is a very humble and wonderful young man. And does not ask for anything from anybody. So on his behalf I am asking for your help because again he won't do it LOL. Please anything that you can give and help support him would be greatly appreciated. Side note, anything above what is needed will be donated on his and And his baby girl Lindsey's behalf to as it would not be right to keep anything that he does not need. As I previously said, his heart is huge.
