Hi! Amalgamated Nursery School is raising funds for two of our families displaced by the recent Van Cortlandt Avenue fire. The funds would be used in part for transportation needed for the children to come to school. In a world of great uncertainty, these children need the consistency and emotional safety of being in school every day, and your contribution will help to achieve that goal. Any remaining funds will be used to offset the cost of replacing lost items, to assist the families in getting back on their feet.

At this time of year especially, let's give these families the support they need in the spirit of community and Thanksgiving. In lieu of the usual fundraisers we have at this time we are committed to helping these families out. We cannot do this without your generosity.

It takes a village to raise a child, and right now we are calling on all of you to be that village.
