Help Anne Gonzales Manuel stay in Canada

Hi, my name is Lorne. My partner Jillian Mendoza was struck by a vehicle last year in February. Anne Gonzales (Anney Gonzales) was a good friend of Jillian, and they are like siblings. Ate Anne created Jillian's GoFundme account to help her with her recovery. We are thankful for everything she did for us and would like to give back.

We are now asking for your support and donation for Ate Anne's legal fees to fight for her right (and family) to remain in Canada. Her case is complicated and needs professional help. She is a good person who has helped many people, especially the caregivers. She is an Angel to everyone around us.

Ate Anne, is a nanny in Canada since 2015 and is the sole provider for her family in the Philippines. She applied for her Permanent Residency (PR); however, it was refused and deemed inadmissible because her husband is sick and was deemed medically inadmissible too. As a result, she can no longer extend her work permit and be deported anytime soon.

She doesn't have enough money to cover her legal fees because it all goes to her family in the Philippines to provide them with a good life. She is a mother of three kids and a loving wife. She is doing her best to provide for her family. We know how hard life is for caregivers here in Canada and to be far away from our loved ones. It's even heartbreaking that you work so hard in your whole life, then you will get a refusal and be deported anytime soon.

It is unfair for Ate Anne to be inadmissible for her PR application just because someone she love and care for is sick. All she did is work hard here and do her best to help other people, yet Immigration was so hard on her.

Again, we are asking for your kind donation in any amount you can help Ate Anne to keep her status in Canada and be reunited with her family here. Furthermore, we ask for your support to fight for the caregivers to receive what they deserve for their hard work.
