Our lovely and bubbly nanny Marianna - ‘Anna’ is from a small village in Ukraine. She was forced to leave her 3-year-old daughter, Zlata for work in the UK. She’s lived and worked here, while processing her visa claim for over 6 years now, desperate to provide a better life for her daughter. Sadly, she was not able to resolve her visa in time before the war broke out. Anna's mother who has been looking after Zlata, cannot leave Ukraine because her grandmothers had two strokes and her brother has been conscripted to fight, so Anna had no choice but to go and rescue her daughter herself. She decided to go to the Polish / Ukraine border and face not being allowed to the place she has called home for the last 6 years. After two days of walking in the cold to reach the border, they have finally reunited! She is currently stuck in Paris waiting for a visa to be allowed back into the UK. 

We have started this fund to help Anna with her mounting travel / legal fees and to resettle her daughter in a new life in the UK. 

Any donations would be much appreciated to help her, she is a truly selfless and hardworking person. Bringing her daughter Zlata to the UK is all she has ever hoped for.
