My name is Ann, and right now my husband, our dog, and I are living in our car in Reno. I’m 61 and disabled, and my husband is 54 and living with diabetes. He works hard delivering for DoorDash, and I receive SSI, but together it’s just not enough to get us indoors. Our car doesn’t have heat, and the nights are getting colder and harder to handle.

We’re doing everything we can to stay safe and hopeful, but the challenges of living on the street are taking a toll on our health and well-being. My husband’s diabetes makes it even more difficult, and I worry every day about what the cold is doing to us and our dog. We’re reaching out for help because we want nothing more than to find a safe, warm place to stay and get back on our feet.

We’re asking for support to help us get off the street and into a stable home. Any donation, no matter the size, would mean the world to us. If you can’t donate, sharing our fundraiser would be a huge help. Thank you so much for caring and for being part of our journey to a better, safer life.
