Help Anja have a Wonderful Birth Experience

Three years ago, my GIRL Anja Jerkovic set up a gofundme page so that I could have the home birth of my dreams. Because of the support of my community, this dream came true and my baby boy Kelly was born at home with the help of two, amazing midwives. Fast forward to the here and NOW and we find Anja the one with child (it’s a girl!) and in need of support with her own home birth dream. Let’s turn this dream into a reality, ya'll.

 

The story is a little different in that her circumstances are much more difficult and complicated. As you know, she now lives in Bosnia and this beautiful country where she was born has a long way to go in terms of quality health care access for mothers. The local hospital only allows someone who is hospital-appointed in the room while the mother labors. Could you even imagine birthing a baby

I can’t even get my blood drawn without a loved one holding my hand the entire time and promising me ice cream. This is where WE come in. Your donation to this birth fund will pay for a professional midwife to attend Anja’s home birth. Her partner Wanja ( I know, their names rhyme…it’s a whole other story about why they are meant to be) will be able to be by our babe’s side the entire time.

 

Anja will be surrounded by love and support as she transitions into motherhood, and she will have you all to thank for it. Ideally, we can raise this money no later than March 1st because baby is due March 21st!
