Help Aniqa create a change.

Hi, my name is Aniqa and i’m fundraising to reach a huge goal of mine which is helping other families with children who are less fortunate throughout their lives due to financial situations. The funds I make here will all contribute to my project of travelling to a small village in Kampala, Uganda. I want to provide all the people I possibly can with items and goods they may not have but actually do need in their daily lives. I moved from Pakistan to America when I was seven years old and have always been very globally interested in all different types of languages, cultures, ethnicities etc. Moving here as a seven year old who didn’t speak english too well and not knowing what I was walking into, opened my eyes more than I had ever expected it too. I realized quickly that I wasn’t like everybody else. The colour of my skin was darker, I had an accent and it just truly never felt like I fit in throughout elementary school. As a teenager in high school now, I look back to those moments and although in the moment it felt like the end of the world, I’ve grown to realize how fortunate I truly was. I was lucky to even be able to move to the U.S with my family and get opportunities just like this one to achieve my goals in life. My end goal out of this fundraiser is to eventually open this idea up to others willing to help and knowing that with the help of all of you incredible people, I was able to make a difference. I am so grateful for every little to large donation made and cannot wait to see where this fund goes. Remember, no donation is ever too small:)
