Hello, my name is Anil Verma and I’m reaching out for your help in bringing my family to the U.S. It’s been nearly four decades since I last saw them. I fled Myanmar in 1988 during the pro-democracy uprising, leaving behind everything I knew. Since then, my two beloved brothers have endured unimaginable hardship, spending the last fifteen years stuck in a refugee camp along the Thai-Burma border. They attempted to follow me, hoping for a chance at a new life. But due to ongoing repression in Myanmar, returning home is not an option for them.

The challenges of resettlement and family reunification are enormous, especially for a low-income family like mine. Though I work hard, I simply don’t have the funds needed to sponsor their journey to safety and stability. That’s why I’m reaching out for your support. Any contribution, big or small, would bring us closer to reuniting and would mean the world to me and my family. Your help could finally bring my brothers to a place where they can rebuild their lives and find peace.
