Help Angela Heal: Support for a Mother and Community Pillar

Angela is one of those people who becomes the heart of a place. Though she only joined The Union in June, we have all come to love her. She came to us twice asking for a job; the second time, I knew I had to listen to my gut that she was someone special. I was right and we want her back.

Angela is always keeping busy and genuinely loves our guests. She has a way of making people feel welcome, and she was so proud to recently be promoted to bartender. She was finally starting to build the financial stability she wanted for herself and her five children.

Right now, Angela is in the ICU following a horrific assault.

Her road to recovery will be long. As her employer, I am starting this fundraiser to take the financial weight off her family. Medical expenses, rehabilitation, and everyday bills don't stop when life is turned upside down.

Angela has spent her life taking care of everyone else. As a mother of five, she is the sun her children orbit, and they are counting the minutes until she can come home. If you haven’t met her, let me introduce you to the kind of person she is.
