My name is Angel, and I’m a 29-year-old parent to three beautiful boys, all under 8 years old. Life has thrown us some tough challenges—after becoming homeless, I put every dime I had into buying a house for my family. The house needs major repairs, but I’m determined to give my kids a safe and stable place to call home.

I’ve been on my own since I was 15, and I’ve managed to get by this far without help from family, friends, or anyone besides the state. Now, I’m reaching out to my community for the first time. The funds raised will help us buy the materials we need to fix up and rebuild our home, so my boys and I can finally have a place where we feel secure and don’t have to worry about paying rent anymore.
