Help Anesu & his family

Anesu is a lovely 6 year old boy who lives in Hertfordshire with his parents and older brother. He was diagnosed with leukaemia - cancer of the white blood cells-when he was 3years old & eventually had a bone marrow transplant in April 2020 after lots of chemotherapy.

Fast forward to Autumn 2021 & the transplant unfortunately failed & the leukaemia was again active. Anesu was admitted to hospital in his local children’s cancer centre Cambridge in November.

On 1st January 2022, Anesu was transferred from Cambridge to another hospital in Manchester because a national experts in children’s leukaemia suggested undergoing a trial treatment for his condition. This means his parents & brother now have to travel to Manchester to see him. But because he’s so ill, Anesu’s mum has had to give up her job. So they are now reliant purely on the income of Anesu’s dad who is a community nurse. They are so keen, like any parent, to do their best for Anesu & support & love & care for him during his treatment. He is likely to remain in hospital for a few months longer.

However, the finances are already very stretched with mum’s income gone, and with the added costs of travel to Manchester and subsistence there, whilst also running a home in Letchworth where dad works & Anesu’s older brother is at school. These costs are not insignificant but the situation has demanded them in order for Anesu to get another transplant and hopefully a cure for this leukaemia.

If you are able to support them during this exceptionally challenging time to enable them to pay for travel/ petrol to Manchester, run their car safely, support them with subsistence there (the accommodation is provided by a charity but the living costs remain), enable dad & to travel back when he can inbetween his nursing shifts, and to provide any necessary items for Anesu, we know they would be so very grateful for your support. They also would love positive vibes and prayers for Anesu’s full recovery and return to good health.
