Brea is raising this fundraiser for Andy, a friend and farmer in the community. Yesterday, Andy’s trailer, and strawberry stand burned down which was also his home. In that fire, he lost everything he owned including precious family photos. Andy lives alone and has already endured so much loss, including the passing of his parents several years ago and his wife a few years ago. This devastating fire has left him without money, without a place to stay, and heartbroken. Andy is a wonderful, kind, and hardworking man who has touched many lives through the years. The funds raised will help him with immediate needs like clothing, housing, and replacing basic essentials. They will also help with cleaning up his property and getting a new trailer so he has a safe place to live again. Brea is asking the community to come together for Andy during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation, big or small, will help Andy begin to rebuild his life and remind him that the community he has cared for over the years is here for him now.
