My name is Yandy García, and Andy García is my older brother.

I’m starting this fundraiser from the bottom of my heart to ask for support for Andy during this unexpected immigration situation.

Andy is currently in ICE detention after being detained on Aug 15th. We’re working hard with his legal team, friends, colleagues and our community to get him released.

Andy has always been there for me and for our family. He is someone I look up to deeply and having him away from home has been incredibly difficult. He is much more than my brother. Since we were children, he has been my guide, my role model, my musical partner, and one of the most important people in my life. Music has always been part of our home and our relationship. We grew up sharing ideas, playing music together, and dreaming about what we could accomplish.

He is also an essential part of "García Brothers", the project we have built together. His absence has affected our music, our plans, and the work we have been developing as brothers. He’s also missing important tours and recording projects with other artists and amazing professional opportunities he’s work so hard to receive.

Right now, our family is doing everything we can to support Andy through this process. The legal expenses and other costs have become difficult to manage, so we are asking for your help.

Our goal is simply to assist Andy through this process and bring him home.
