Andy lost his father a year and a half ago, after spending eight years as his dad's caregiver without pay. When his father passed, Andy also lost his home, and since then, we've been struggling to find stability. For the past ten months, we've been moving from motel to motelto and working odd jobs just to cover the nightly costs. I do what I can to help, but being partially disabled and only able to work part time makes it difficult. Some days, we don't even have enough to eat.
Now, we're facing another move—we have to leave our current motel by the 1st, and we have nowhere else to go. Every cent we've made has gone into keeping a roof over our heads, but it's just not sustainable anymore. We have our cat, who belonged to Andy's parents, and our dog, and finding a place that will accept all of us has been nearly impossible. We've tried to rent apartments or even a room, but we can't meet the income requirements, and no one is willing to rent to all four of us. To make things even harder, Andy recently lost his car because we couldn't afford the insurance or registration. Andy has Hep-C and other medical issues, which makes everything even harder.
We're hoping to raise enough to buy a small to medium sized RV that runs, cover any repairs it might need, and help with food, transportation, and a place to park the RV. This would give us a safe, stable place to live so we can keep working and caring for our pets. We truly appreciate any blessing. We know times are hard for everyone, so your help means even more to us. We're humbled and grateful for anyone willing to bless us. We love you.
