Andria McKnight, a veteran translator, is facing a heartbreaking loss after her home was destroyed yesterday in a fire. Thankfully, she and her husband, Nik McKnight, managed to escape with their lives, but they lost their three beloved cats and all of their belongings. Due to the extent of the fire, they will basically need to build from ground up and will be misplaced for a year. The support from this fundraiser will be help with their most urgent needs such temporary housing and replacing belongings. Thankfully, Andria and Nik’s children, Maya and Xandy Cheng, were staying with their father so were not in the fire and are safe.
