For those unaware, this is my story. I was in a vulnerable state in early 2025 and looking to the internet to find some sense of community. My rapist saw that and immediately began pushing my boundaries sexually from the first messages he sent me in April 2025. Within a couple weeks, I was on a plane to meet him. That night I arrived he raped me. He continued to do so throughout the trip even after I tried to convince him not to. By August 2025, I had moved in with him. From then all the way until March 2026 he continued to rape me. Even since he has stopped raping me, he still continues to push my boundaries. Living with him and having my boundaries violated daily is retraumatizing and led to me going inpatient at a psychiatric hospital for attempting suicide in May 2026. Even properly medicated and going to therapy, being around him leaves me in near constant terror and with suicidal ideation. With each passing day it becomes more and more urgent that I move out.

My original plan was to save up enough on my own to escape to a domestic violence shelter and find a place to rent while I'm there. Unfortunately, I make barely above minimum wage as a barista and saving up has been slow for me.

My goal is to save up enough to cover:
