Seeking stability after years of military life and renting, Andrew MacElroy and his wife hoped to finally give their five young children a place to call home. After years of service and careful saving, they trusted licensed professionals and purchased what they believed would be their forever home in Three Forks, Montana, in August 2024.
That dream quickly unraveled when they discovered foundation damage that had been hidden beneath finished flooring and never disclosed. Just two months after moving in, a neighbor mentioned a large basement crack from a previous listing. When they pulled back the carpet, they uncovered significant, previously hidden damage.
Andrew is a 100% permanently and totally disabled Army combat veteran who served for nearly ten years. He lives with serious, degenerative spinal injuries and worsening nerve damage, and recently underwent spinal surgery, with more ahead. As his physical challenges grow, so does the weight on his family.
With insurance unable to cover the damage and limited legal options, the family is now forced to sell their home at a significant loss. What was meant to be a place of stability has instead created financial and emotional strain during an already difficult season.
The funds raised will help offset the loss from the sale and support relocation for Andrew and his family.
Drew has worked hard to provide for his family. Asking for help is not easy. Your support would give them a safe place to land and help them move forward after circumstances they never could have anticipated. It truly means more than words can express.
