Help Andrew Start Fresh After Nearly Three Decades In Prison

Help Andrew S. Rebuild His Life After Nearly 30 Years of Incarceration

After nearly three decades behind bars, Andrew is finally going free. His journey to this point has been one of immense resilience, perseverance, and hope. I had the honor of representing Andrew in his appeal following a wrongful denial of parole. After the courts agreed last month that he was entitled to a new hearing, the parole board finally recognized what it should have years ago: That Andrew deserves to be home. Now, Andrew has a chance to make a fresh start.

But starting over from nothing will be extremely difficult. Andrew needs immediate support to cover basic necessities like clothing, food, shelter, and healthcare. He also faces a range of health challenges, all of which require ongoing care and attention. This fundraiser is about more than just helping Andrew rebuild—it’s about giving him the foundation he needs to thrive in this new chapter. Your support will provide him with the stability and resources he needs to navigate reentry and build a life of dignity and opportunity.

All funds donated to this campaign will go directly toward helping Andrew meet his immediate needs, such as:
• Essential clothing and food
• Temporary housing as he transitions into the community
• Access to necessary medical care
• Transportation
• Other basic necessities

Andrew is an incredibly thoughtful and spiritual person who approaches life with gentleness and deep reflection. He loves spending time outdoors, listening to music, watching sports, and drawing. For nearly 30 years, he has prayed for a second chance. Together, we can ensure his transition to freedom is one of dignity, stability, and hope.

Any amount you can contribute will make a meaningful difference in Andrew’s ability to rebuild his life and pursue his dreams. Please consider donating and sharing this campaign with others.

Thank you for helping Andrew begin this new chapter with the community support he needs and deserves.

***Andrew is scheduled to be released the first week of January. Please donate before January 1st so that we can keep him warm, fed, and safe this winter. ***
