Andrew and Elin’s world turned upside down when Chelsea, Elin’s mom, became seriously ill. Chelsea’s WKS diagnosis means she wont be able to work again or care for Elin the way she used to, and now Andrew is doing everything on his own to care for their son, Elin, a 10 year old, bright and curious boy who lives with type 1 diabetes and autism. He depends on his dad for comfort, routine, and love, especially now that so much has changed at home.

Andrew and Elin find joy in the little things like walks to the park, movie nights, and the company of their cats and dogs. But with Chelsea unable to help, Andrew is juggling it all: the bills, Elin’s care, and supporting Chelsea through her recovery. Some days are overwhelming, but Andrew’s love for Elin keeps him going. He just wants to give his son a safe, happy home and a sense of stability, even when life feels uncertain.
