Help Andrew after back surgery

Hi my name is Amy, I’m Andrew’s Mom. I’m starting this account to help Andrew take care of his family after his back surgery. Andrew has known for several years he has a very bad back. The words his Dr. used were the back of an 80 year old. He has lived with excruciating pain at times, over the last several years, but it’s never kept him from taking care of his family. The last several months he’s began having an issue with his foot & leg, and having some nerve issues with both legs, as well as new pain in his back. The most recent MRI unfortunately revealed a new back issue that has to be dealt with immediately. He will need SURGERY!! Without this surgery he could possibly lose the function of his legs as well as other things. He’s only 23 years old, not what we had hoped for but it must be done. Andrew is the sole provider for his family, his fiancé is in college full time and takes care of their precious 2 year old. The company Andrew works for is small and does not have short term disability. He has to be off work for SIX weeks!! This is the reason for making this account. If all of his friends & family can donate and ease his worry that will help in his recovery and get him healed and back to work, hopefully feeling pain free!
