This fundraiser is for a good friend of mine and his wife and two young boys. They are native Venezuelans who have had their livelihood destroyed by the Venezuelan government and it's current economic state. Andres and his wife are both Christians and actively involved in outreach and evangelism. Unfortunately, things have gotten so bad that they are left with no choice but to seek refuge in another country that is free from the persecution that they have been facing. Recently, they were given an opportunity for work and housing in Canada through a trusted individual. Unfortunately, Andres and his family are still unable to have their basic needs met and also need money for work visas, passports, and travel costs. The funds raised here will go directly towards those costs, so that we can move his family away from danger and poverty in Venezuela, and into hope and a future in Canada. I wanted to share in my own words since I have been helping Andres and his family for a couple of years now, as they have also birthed two baby boys. I say this heavily, that they are really desperate, and this opportunity in Canada will be a huge weight lifted off of their shoulders. This family has been through countless tragedies and disappointments. I really believe this is a God given opportunity for them to get out of their current state. Hello everyone, my name is Andres Lobo, and today I reach out to you with the hope of rebuilding my family's future. For a long time, we have lived under a shadow of extortion, threats, and violence in Venezuela. Tragically, we fell victim to extreme circumstances that led us to lose everything we had built through years of hard work: our livelihood, our possessions, and—most importantly—our peace of mind. Today, after enduring kidnappings and a campaign of persecution that left us with nothing, we find ourselves in a state of total vulnerability and deep distress. However, our absolute priority remains the safety and well-being of our two young children.

Our Goal: Canada

We have the opportunity to start over in Canada, where a relative is waiting to provide us with housing, food, and the chance to integrate into the workforce. It represents our light at the end of the tunnel—our way out of this cycle of uncertainty and danger. Why do we need your help? Despite having a place to stay once we arrive, we currently lack the financial resources to cover the basic legal and identification procedures required to leave the country. The funds raised will go entirely toward:

Passports - Renewal and issuance fees for my two children, my wife, and myself.

Canadian Visas - Application and biometric fees for all four family members.

Travel Logistics - Basic transportation expenses to reach our destination.
