My name is Halley Murrow. I had the honor of being best friends, more like sisters with the most caring, beautiful friend, Andrea Brown Serge. I’m so proud and honored that she was my best friend. I’ve been praying and wracking my brain on some way to offer support to the family. Our sweet Andrea lost her battle with COVID. Andrea made a beautiful life for herself in North Myrtle Beach, SC. I met her during our days at UNCG. She spent some time there and UNC and was a proud DA. Andrea was originally from Randolph County, NC and had sweet Carolina roots and a wonderful upbringing. She was the daughter of Bill and Carla Brown. She leaves behind an amazing husband, Caleb Serge, two beautiful girls, her precious family, and numerous friends who loved her more than anything. Her husband Caleb is like a big brother to me. Her sweet girls- Brooklyn “Ann” Serge, age 8, named after her mom Andrea, and Ann a generational name. Brinkley “Caroline” Serge, age 3 named after Andrea’s middle name. All Andrea wanted in life was to be a wife and mother and she was the best there was. She was the most devoted, loving mother. The greatest I’ve ever seen. Those precious girls loved their Mommy more than anything in this world. I’ve taken it upon myself to organize this fundraiser just to offer an answer to the many requests from friends and loved ones to help in some way. One of Andrea’s greatest passions was watching her two sweet girls cheer. She grew up a cheerleader as well and wanted her girls to feel that same sense of pride, fellowship, and unity. I thought organizing this fundraiser could go towards the many things the girls love and are involved in. It’s also a great way to honor her legacy. Plus, it can go towards astronomical medical bills , funeral arrangement services, time away from work to deal with everything, and the many other accumulative expenses.  Any donation is appreciated. Even more appreciated, are the prayers that are being lifted for this precious family during this difficult time. This sweet family is shocked to their core, devastated, & heartbroken. Let’s pray for them to find a way to move forward without their BEST FRIEND and ROCK of the family.
