Anastasia Easterling and Lorrie Maddox are sisters that live together on their family property with their combined 5 children. They have lived at the family property since 2017, with their father- Tony Easterling, who purchased the home in 2007 when they were minor children with intentions of giving them a forever home. He purchased the home with his late wife's, who was their mother, life insurance policy after her passing in 2006. Anastasia lived there until 2009 and Lorrie lived there until 2013 when they became legal adults. Tony remarried for a brief time in 2009, adding his new wife to the house deed in 2011. They separated in 2015, and divorced in 2017. The marriage was unhealthy and ended badly. His ex wife, who having an affair with a man in prison left when he was released. She stole everything in the family home, other than the dirty dishes and the chickens she left in the coop to die. (And yes, the chickens died) She moved out of state with her new husband. Their father Tony cut his losses and moved on, with no contact with his ex wife aside from their divorce. In their divorce, she lost all rights to the property, but failed to file a quitclaim and remove herself from the deed and her whereabouts were unknown. Since 2017 Anastasia and Lorrie have been responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the home, including replacing the roof, framework, electrical work, plumbing, property tax payments, and more. Their father, Tony, fell ill and suffered with various health issues for several years before his passing in Feb of 2025- thus leaving Anastasia and Lorrie responsible for all of his after life affairs. Which was an extremely stressful, and expensive experience. While still undergoing the legal processes beyond his passing, Tony's ex wife became aware of his death in July of 2025 and began legal processes to attempt to not only evict Anastasia, Lorrie, and their 5 children from their home but also to put the home up for sale, listing herself as the sole owner. Luckily for them, she did not have legal ground to evict them. But is still trying and has been working with a company to list the home for sale. In order to stop her the girls have hired the attorney who has been working their father estate since his passing to file a motion to finally remove her from the deed and save their home. This of course comes as an unexpected expense on top of the already costly estate and funeral/cremation costs. This is something that needs to be started and put in motion as soon as possible. It has to be done in a timely manner with the threat being them losing their home and homelessness with 5 children.
