Anas is a 15-year-old boy from northern Gaza. He once dreamed of becoming an engineer. He loved math and spent his time dismantling small devices and trying to put them back together. But the war came—sudden and brutal—and changed everything.
One night, under relentless bombing, Anas and his family were forced to flee to the south. They walked for hours, carrying only some clothes and water, leaving behind their home, his school, and all the memories of his childhood.
Today, Anas lives with his father Mohammad (40 years old), his mother, and his two sisters, Dana and Meera, in a small tent that barely protects them from the cold at night or the scorching heat during the day. There’s no school, no regular food, and no safety. His heart breaks seeing his friends injured or killed, and watching his mother try to cook meals that don’t feed everyone—especially when a single bag of flour now costs $400, and vegetables are sold at shocking prices.
Anas asks for nothing but a return to normalcy: to go to school, eat a warm meal, and dream about the future. But right now, that feels far out of reach.
Anas’s family, like thousands in Gaza, needs your help. Your donation today can provide them with food, medicine, shelter… and maybe help Anas believe again that life is still possible.
