Hello I am Ashlynn Gardner I am from the United State's & I am trying to help Hossam & his family get to somewhere safe from Gaza. This is their story.
“Hello,
My name is Rania Ziad. I am from Gaza, 23 years old, married, and a mother of three children.
My oldest child, Mohammed, is four years old, and I have twins, Zain and Eileen, who are one and a half years old.
We used to live a simple but safe and dignified life. Our home was full of happiness, and my husband worked long hours away from us to provide for our basic needs.
One night, we woke up to the sound of heavy explosions. The war began and destroyed everything.
About a week later, I found out that I was pregnant with twins. I started suffering from extreme exhaustion due to lack of food, shortage of water, and drinking contaminated water.
My family and I faced a very difficult situation we were not prepared for. We were forcibly displaced to the southern part of Gaza. I walked long distances while pregnant and exhausted, with no shelter and no safety.
Days, nights, and months have passed, and we are still displaced until today.
Our beautiful home, which was full of love and life, was completely destroyed, leaving no trace behind.
We were forced to live on the sidewalk in a small tent made of blankets and wood, it was very small and not enough for all of us. The surrounding environment is unlivable: garbage everywhere, polluted drinking water, spoiled food, torn clothes, illness, and no access to medicine or treatment.
Then, on a night of intense bombing, I went into labor with no ambulance available to take me to the hospital. I was transported on a simple cart, and by God’s mercy, I gave birth safely.
But only one hour after giving birth, the hospital where my children and I were staying was bombed. We survived by a miracle.
My innocent children have suffered from hunger and severe shortages of milk and diapers.
Our life used to be completely different. We ate healthy food, drank clean water, and wore proper clothes. Today, we have been deprived of the most basic human rights.
I ask for your support to help us secure basic necessities and to assist us in leaving Gaza so we can live in safety and peace, and give our children the life they deserve.
If you are unable to donate, sharing this campaign would mean so much to me and my family.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who reads, donates, or shares this campaign.
Your support means more to us than you can imagine ”
