Help Anas and His Family Survive Gaza

My name is Anas. I am a child from Gaza. I used to live with my mother and younger siblings in a simple home filled with warmth and love. We were just an ordinary family with dreams of a safe future, full of laughter despite life’s hardships.
But everything changed after October 7.
Our home was bombed—completely destroyed. My father disappeared. We don’t know if he is alive or imprisoned. Suddenly, we had no shelter, no support. My mother was left alone to protect us, and I—just a child—had to become the man of the family.
We fled the bombing in northern Gaza to the south, hoping to find safety. We walked through rubble, through fear and bodies, only to find death following us. Then we were told to return to the north, so we did—under fire, carrying my siblings and heavy hearts. And again, we were forced to flee to the south. This journey repeated itself many times. It felt like we were running in circles of death, with no escape.
Nowhere is safe. No food, no clean water, no place to sleep—only hunger, destruction, and fear. I now search daily for a shelter, for a loaf of bread, for a drop of water… anything to keep my mother and siblings alive.
My childhood is gone. Our lives are shattered.
I call upon every human with a conscience: please help us. We need shelter, food, medicine, and a chance to live in peace. From the heart of devastated Gaza, from beneath the rubble, I cry out.
