Welcome to my Human Space Exploration Journey in need of Your Support!
My name is Mark Kettles. I’m graduating in May 2025 with a Master's of Engineering Management from the University of Colorado Boulder. I’m a program manager, human space exploration advocate, UAP researcher, and an analog astronaut in training. Recently, I was selected as an official crew member for the first and only World's Biggest Analog Mission!
I am fundraising to pay for the last phase of my training, May 5 - 9, 2025 (STAR CREW Virtual Training and Stage 4 Onsite Training). The mission itself will follow as a 14-day operation running from October 13 - 26, 2025. Your support goes directly into my training and, ultimately, the collaborative research to be conducted across multiple habitats involving over a dozen different countries all coming together to support each other in this extraordinary effort. It will impact future space science, Earth-based technology, and international community collaboration.
In return, I will provide special acknowledgments to the donors, a full report upon completion, and photos/updates throughout my training and mission journey.
More details:
I will be a crew member supporting a historic analog astronautics mission (space missions simulated on Earth!). I will be an integral part of research conducted on several areas of focus, including bioastronautics, robotics, and human behavior, to name a few. As I take this next step forward, I am thankful to all who have supported me throughout my life journey, and I am grateful to those who will continue to help in this internationally collaborative community effort.
I was able to self-fund the first stages of qualification, as well as two technical courses in astronautics. Now, I need help with a total of $5,000 to be able to cover the costs of training and travel leading up to the mission, followed by the mission itself.
Thank you for your support and dedication to human space exploration and global collaboration, working together for something greater than ourselves!
Estimated budget breakdown:
Stage 3 Virtual Training: $800 (recently completed)
STAR CREW Virtual Training (April 2025) $600
Stage 4 Onsite Training (May 2025) $2,500
Travel Expenses (flights, hotels, car rentals) $1100
TOTAL = $5000
Every donation, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to making this happen. Space exploration has always been about pushing boundaries, asking the big questions, and working together to achieve the impossible. With your help, I can be an integral part of that mission.
Thank you for believing in this dream with me. Let's make it happen together!
Thank You!
