Help Anakin play Hockey 21-22 Season

Dear Friends and Family,

With the children's dad now out of the picture, funding for the kids' sports (and everything else) falls to me. The addition of extra support money just doesn't cut it when it comes to the fees for Anakin's hockey registration for the coming season. Anakin has been playing since he was five years old and absolutely loves his sport. He was selected co-captain of his previous Jr. Ducks team and is well regarded for his sportsmanship and abilities on the ice by teammates, coaches and parents alike. With all that Anakin has experienced this past year, he has maintained a 4.0 gpa throughout his freshman year of high school and continues to grow into the kind, fun-loving and responsible human we always knew he would. He is also now working his first summer job so that he too will be able to contribute to his extra-curricular activities and save up for a car. Of course, hockey is likely the most expensive sport he could be involved in. Because of this, we have had many heart to hearts over the years and the truth is, he is passionate about his sport and intends to continue playing at the college level. Now more than ever, it feels imperative to his health and well being that he continue to play, and at his level the fees are extensive. He will be choosing between signing up with his district high school team or once again playing for the Jr. Duck franchise under his previous coach who absolutely loves Anakin and has a gentle, guiding hand with him. While it is hard for me to consider this cause worthy of involving friends and family, it is the only way I can keep him on the ice with a team. Please know that any amount at all you can contribute will be a tremendous help. We love and thank you so much and of course understand if contributing is not available to you right now.
