Help an amazing dad to support his son
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
I am reaching out on behalf of my step brother and my brave nephew who are going through an incredibly challenging time. Recently, my nephew experienced a devastating workplace accident, suffering severe burns on 22% of his body. He has been in the hospital for the past five weeks, undergoing intensive treatment and care, with no clear date of release in sight.
This young man has already endured three major surgeries, and while we remain hopeful that he won't need any more, his road to recovery is still long and uncertain. Throughout this difficult period, his father has been by his side every step of the way.
As a single father, my step brother has always been the sole provider and caregiver for his son. He has exhausted all his available leave from work to be there for his son during this traumatic time. While his son’s medical expenses are thankfully covered by his employer, my step brother still faces the burden of everyday bills and expenses. His unwavering presence at his son's bedside is crucial for his son’s recovery, which is hard now with no leave.
This is where we need your help. We are raising funds to support this dedicated father, allowing him to spend as much time as possible with his son in the hospital without the additional stress of financial worries. The funds will be used to cover:
- Wage loss
- Travel costs to and from the hospital
- Care for the son including any personal care and the weekly TV rental
Your generosity will provide much-needed relief and enable this devoted father to focus on what matters most: being there for his son during this critical time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference and be deeply appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read their story and for considering a donation. If you’re unable to donate, please share this with others. Together, we can help ease their burden and support them on the road to recovery.
