Our dear friend Amy needs our help!!
Amy, is a true local girl who was born and raised right here on the island of Oahu. Ever since she was young, Amy's love for horses has been her driving force. She briefly left the island to further her education and enhance her skills as an equestrian rider & trainer. However, her heart never left Oahu, and as soon as she had the chance, Amy returned to the North Shore to pursue her lifelong dream of opening a horseback riding school rooted in community spirit.
However, Amy recently faced an unexpected challenge when her training contract was abruptly terminated with at her location of 18 years, with less than a 12 hours' notice, and no valid reason for termination of all teaching activities. This sudden upheaval has left Amy and her horses without the resources to continue to have a stable home. Amy is without an income at this time, which is threatening the future of her horses, riding school, and the dreams of countless aspiring riders in the community.
Despite this setback, Amy's passionate commitment to her students and the North Shore community remains strong. As one of the the only English riding schools which provides safe, quality lesson horses, in the area and one of just a few on the entire island, Amy's riding school holds a special place in the hearts of riders young and old.
She has helped and supported countless children and adults in overcoming obstacles, building confidence, and discovering happiness even amidst depression, all through their bond with horses.
Now, Amy needs our help to secure a new home for her riding school and her beloved horses. With your support, we can ensure that Amy's passion for teaching and her invaluable contributions to the North Shore and the entire Oahu community can continue for years to come.
Your generous donations will go towards securing a suitable location, transporting the horses safely, and setting up the necessary facilities to resume classes and programs. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a difference in preserving Amy's community driven riding school and ensuring that the magic of horseback riding continues to enrich the lives of riders for generations to come here on our beloved North Shore.
