Help Amy Sybrowsky Fight Stage 4 Breast Cancer

Donation protected
My name is Michelle Schmidt, a friend of the Sybrowsky family. I have watched Amy Sybrowsky battle breast cancer on and off for the past 7 years. She and her family have been through numerous highs and lows with her health journey. Not only did she have to go through losing her mother to breast cancer at an early age, she has been battling this for much of her daughters life. She has undergone multiple surgeries and variations of chemotherapy. This last year, Amy was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, as you can imagine this diagnosis was devastating when they were feeling somewhat in the clear.

Treatments initially kept things stable, but recently her cancer mutated and has become resistant to most conventional therapies. Her latest scans show spreading tumors under her skin, and the doctors’ only remaining option is heavy, aggressive chemotherapy with little hope for lasting success. Amy still feels strong and healthy, and she’s not ready to give up hope. Through all of this, Amy has had the same goal: seeing her only daughter graduate high school.

To that end, she has been accepted to a cutting-edge immunotherapy program at Immunocine, a U.S.-founded clinic in Cancun that uses advanced “double-loading” stem cell therapy. This approach is based on FDA-fast-tracked research happening at major institutions like MD Anderson and Baylor—but not yet available for breast cancer in the U.S. Only 15% of applicants are accepted, and Amy is fortunate to be one of them.
Amy and her family are able to cover most of the cost of the treatment, but the frequent travel to and from Mexico over six weeks is an added financial burden that is causing difficulty right now.

Amy and Adam insist they want help only from those who are able and moved to give. They are beyond grateful for the love, prayers, and support they’ve already received. They have received continued blessings and miracles along their journey. They are so deserving of this chance and so grateful to have been accepted. These two love and serve everyone around them with such joy. They feel it is a huge blessing for her to fight this cancer in a new way to hopefully maintain some quality of life for the time being. Any amount of help large or small will significantly bless them at this time and they are profoundly grateful.

All donations will be used towards treatment and travel. Please reach out with any questions.
