At 6 AM this morning, my neighbor Amy Reese and her four sons experienced a devastating house fire that destroyed their home. By the grace of God, they were able to escape with only smoke inhalation, but they lost everything in the fire and now have only the clothes on their backs. Amy is a devoted mother to four boys, the youngest just four years old, and this tragedy has left them without a place to call home or any of their belongings.
The funds raised will go directly toward helping Amy and her boys find temporary housing, replace essential items like clothing and shoes, and cover daily living expenses as they begin to rebuild their lives. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference in helping this family get back on their feet after such a sudden and overwhelming loss.
Please reach into your hearts and give what you can to help Amy and her sons start over. Your kindness and support mean the world to them during this incredibly difficult time. (Clothing sizes will be shared in a separate post for those who wish to help in that way.)
