Amy sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI) in 2014 from a fall on the ice. This led to a journey of recovery and growth that she never saw coming. She has written several books on the subject and travels the country speaking to groups about the devastating affects of TBI and the 1.6M people each year who will sustain a TBI.

She also attends Brain Injury Awareness Day at our Nation's Captiol each March (March 6, 2024) to lobby and meet with her senators and congress members -- encouraging them to join the Congressional Brain Injury Task Force.

This year is an important year, as we are hoping to extend the Traumatic Brain Injury Bill that is set to expire. Congressman Pascrell (D, NJ) has already authored the bill and sent it to the House, so now our lobbying is more important than ever!!

She does all of this without pay or travel reimbursements. Which is where YOU come in!! Every dollar donated will go directly towards Amy's advocacy efforts in Washington DC this coming March 6th.
