My name is Ammar Ahmad. I have been working with a community-based charity in Uganda, @Ibrahimcharitymoselem [Instagram], and the Ashley/Alex Vargason Project, raising money for water wells, food, medical necessities, and most recently, the building of a mosque, with the goal that this will also serve as a school for boys and girls in the near future (God willing).

As seen in the photo, the village is in desperate need of a sustainable structure where men, women, and children can gather as a community, to connect, have water for cleanliness (wudu), and to pray. I've managed to raise $4,000 with the help of the generosity of family and friends, and will need some more help to reach our goal of $8,000. No amount is too little or too large. Your participation will go a long way to helping this much-needed community. Any excess of funds will go towards building water wells in neighboring villages where people have to travel long distances to have access to clean water. Thank you for your support!
