Hi, my name is Amiyah. I never imagined I’d be in a position where I needed to ask for help like this, but I am currently facing homelessness with no safe place to go.

At the end of December, I was forced to leave my family home. Since then, I’ve been staying temporarily with a friend, but I’ve been told I must leave by Sunday. I’ve contacted the county and multiple resources, but due to lack of availability, I’ve been unable to secure shelter or housing.

I am autistic and disabled, currently without income, transportation, or family support. This makes navigating homelessness especially difficult and unsafe for me. To make matters worse, I was recently assaulted, which has left me feeling extremely vulnerable and afraid, especially without a stable place to stay.

I am doing everything I can to advocate for myself and access services, but right now I need immediate help to stay safe. Funds raised will go toward emergency expenses such as temporary lodging, transportation, food, basic necessities, and anything required to help me stabilize while I continue working with social services to find longer-term housing.

Asking for help is incredibly hard for me, but I am trying to survive a situation that feels overwhelming and out of my control.
