Kathy Pogue is the survivor of her two children Ashley and Corey. Kathy’s only granddaughter Amity is 8 years old. At this young age Amity has gone through a lot. First, she lost her mother due to Covid. Next, her father, who wasn’t a big part of her life before, decided that she wasn’t safe with Kathy who was under the same roof as Amity for years helping Ashley coparent. The father abducted Amity from the funeral home while Kathy was there making arrangements for the funeral. He also didn’t consider it important to bring Amity to Ashley’s funeral. Kathy has done everything in her power to bring Amity home. This sweet girl has been tossed by the court between grandma and dad while coping with her loss. Kathy has exhausted her money on attorneys, forensic interviews and other expenses required by the court, which she respectfully and dutifully fulfilled. She found an attorney willing to fight for Amity, but that means another expense. We are asking everyone who can to help with any amount of donations.
