HELP AMEERAH & HER BROTHERS TO BUILD WELLS IN TANZANIA

In relation to the GoFundMe fees, I will personally cover the difference myself, insha’Allāh. Henceforth, I have now amended the target amount from £7,000 to £6,118.50 (£611.85 x 10 water wells = £6,118.50).

Asalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. Ramadhān Mubarak! We pray that this month is filled with goodness and blessings. May Allāh grant us and you His mercy and forgiveness, Allāhumma aameen!

On behalf of our three children, I would like to welcome you to their fundraising page. May Allāh reward them abundantly. May their kindness and good deeds weigh heavily on their scales of good deeds, Allāhumma aameen.

Our children intend to raise funds for a village in the Morogoro region of Dar es salaam. My sister-in-law has sent a video to me, whereby the local people are telling us that they are in dire need of water wells. They have no access to clean water in Morogoro. This lack of access, leads to the widespread prevalence of waterborne diseases like cholera and typhoid fever.

Many people, particularly women and young girls, endure long, gruelling walks in harsh weather conditions to fetch water, as they cannot afford transportation. They travel for miles and face obstacles, to collect water from a small river. This water is dirty, but they are drinking it. This affects their health, education, and ability to thrive.

We believe that no one should have to live without this basic human necessity. That’s why we are determined to make a difference. Collectively, we can build water wells to provide clean water to hundreds of people, insha’Allāh.

We would like to raise enough funds to build ten water wells in Morogoro, insha’Allāh. Three of which, would be in each of our children’s names, bi’ithnillah. Please donate what ever you can to support this cause for the sake of Allāh and earn yourself Sadaqah Jariyah in this blessed month.

The cost per water well is £611.85 for this particular region. If we are able to build ten water wells, this would be a total of £6,118.50. This is approximately 2 MILLION SHILLINGS (TZS).

My husband’s family reside in Tanzania. We have collaborated many times, to supply food and essential provisions to the orphanages and masaajid in various small villages. I will be provided with photographs, for your perusal. The family are trustworthy and God-fearing people, Allāhumma baarik lahum! I can assure you that your donations will be in safe hands, insha’Allāh.

The tremendous virtue of giving water (to drink) - Al-Hafidh ibn Battal رحمه اللّه said:

"Giving water (to drink) is from the greatest means of seeking nearness to Allāh The Most High. Indeed some of the Tabi'in said, 'Whosoever has accumulated much sin, then upon him is to give water (to drink). If the sins of the one who gave drinking water to a dog were forgiven, then what do you think regarding the one who gives water to the believer who is upon Tawhid (to drink) or rejuvenates him?!"

As we have embarked on this blessed month of Ramadhān, let us be more willing to part with our wealth. The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) was the most generous of creation, yet in the month of Ramadhān He was even more generous. Let us come together to gain the hasanat that is infinitely multiplied, and to attain the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ beautiful promise of being together in Jannah, insha'Allāh!
