As some of you know, Ameena Meer just lost everything she owns in a truck fire as they were being shipped to LA from NYC.
In her words: “All of my possessions were burned. That is everything I have owned in my life. I now have a few pairs of shoes, two bean bag chairs and a folding table. All my kitchen equipment, my sheets and towels, my clothes, all my art, all my furniture, all the photographs of my kids, parents and grandparents.”
Let us all pitch in to contribute something to Ameena in this moment of uncertainty. Lets offer her some semblance of stability as we enter the latter part of this most holy month of Ramadan.
