My children and I have been through an incredibly tough time since Christmas. While I was at work, the person I was dating put all of our belongings outside because I didn’t want to get married. Since then, we’ve been living in hotels, just trying to have a roof over our heads. On top of that, I’m juggling bills, car payments, insurance, storage units, food, and caring for our four fur babies—two cats and two dogs.

Things became even more challenging after I was in a car accident on May 1st, breaking my tailbone and wrist. It’s been hard to heal while trying to keep my family safe and together. I’ve reached out to organizations and shelters, but there’s been no help available, especially since I have pets. All I want is to find stable housing so my children and I can have a safe place to call home and I can focus on healing.

I’m deeply grateful for anyone who takes the time to read, share, or support our story. I know I’m not the only one facing life’s obstacles, but your kindness will help a mother of three gain stability and give my children a home where they don’t have to worry about where they’ll sleep or what they’ll eat. I miss cooking for my family, and living in a hotel with only a microwave has been heartbreaking. Thank you for any support you can give—it truly means the world to us.
