Help Amber Create a Joyful Future For Her Daughter Ava

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
I’m writing this today with a heart full of love, hope, and urgency—for my best friend Amber.
If you know Amber, then you know what it means to be loved unconditionally. She is the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back without a second thought. She’s fierce when it comes to protecting the people she loves, and gentle in all the ways that make you feel seen, safe, and valued. She is the type of mom that makes you question if you are a good mom yourself sometimes. In the last decade I've been lucky enough to call her my friend, I’ve witnessed loyalty, grit, and compassion that I honestly didn’t know could all exist so powerfully in one person.
Amber works tirelessly—currently it’s almost seven days a week, every week—not for herself, but for those she loves. Right now, she’s carrying the weight of trying to give her daughter and new grandbaby a fresh, joyful start. Her daughter recently had a baby, and they’re also trying to plan a wedding—something that should be a celebration, not a source of stress. But Amber is doing it all, quietly, selflessly, and without asking anyone for help—because that’s who she is.
But I am asking for help—because I can’t watch my best friend burn herself out trying to make dreams come true on her own. She would never ask, but I know how deeply she deserves this support. If the roles were reversed, I promise you Amber would be the first person to show up—no questions asked, no thanks needed. She will put everything on hold to help those she cares about, I’ve seen it firsthand.
So here I am, humbly asking: please, if you can, donate to her GoFundMe. No amount is too small, and every bit helps lift a little of the weight she’s been carrying for far too long. Let’s give back to someone who has always given so much. Let’s remind Amber that she’s not alone, and that love and community are just as strong as the pride and courage she shows every single day.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for reading this—and for anything you can do to help.
With gratitude and hope,
Moe
