In the last decade I've been lucky enough to call her my friend, I’ve witnessed loyalty, grit, and compassion that I honestly didn’t know could all exist so powerfully in one person.

Amber works tirelessly—currently it’s almost seven days a week, every week—not for herself, but for those she loves. Right now, she’s carrying the weight of trying to give her daughter and new grandbaby a fresh, joyful start. Her daughter recently had a baby, and they’re also trying to plan a wedding—something that should be a celebration, not a source of stress. But Amber is doing it all, quietly, selflessly, and without asking anyone for help—because that’s who she is.
