Help Amber and Leena Rebuild Their Lives

Some of us are lucky and never have a devastating life-changing event. Unfortunately, Amber and Leena (4 years old) have been victimized not once but twice and need help moving forward in their lives.

The first abuser (Leena's dad) is now serving a prison term for the violence he perpetuated against them. Unfortunately, as they were getting back on their feet, a stalker with mental health issues began to terrorize them. The local police department basically refused to do anything about it, only telling her to get security cameras. This went on for months until one evening, as Amber pulled into her driveway, she could see the man inside her house. She simply backed out of the house and never returned. They left with only the clothes on their backs from Florida and flew north, where they have been taken in by relatives. In every respect, they are restarting their lives from zero.

Amber fled her home and gave up her career to keep her and Leena safe. Leena is a sweet and imaginative girl full of verve and love. She really wants to return to pre-school, make friends, and have a home, yard, and bed of her own. Amber is working at rebuilding their lives, but it is difficult.
