Help Kyle and Amber's Growing Loving Family

Donation protected
For those of you that don't know us, Amber and I have been married since 2014 and built a beautiful family and life together. Prior to having kids, volunteering and donating to charities is something I've always been passionate about. As our family grew, we've been unable to give as much of our time and money to charitable causes as we once did. We had always talked about fostering as another way to give back and help children in need. Children in tough situations have always been at the heart of our passion.

As our oldest has become an adult and our younger three kids are all school age now, Amber and I went through the process to become certified as foster parents. We decided we could take in 1 or 2 kids into our very happy, loving home where we have A LOT of fun and hopefully make positive impact on some kids going through some tough times. We've had a few kids in and out and it has been great.

A few weeks ago, we got a call about an emergency situation of 4 siblings they were trying to keep together that needed immediate placement. The situation these kids were in and what they were going through was heart wrenching. Amber and I looked at the rooms and the beds we had and figured out how we could make it happen. We knew it would not be easy but the mantra of what I always tell my kids was ringing in my own head, "we always do the right thing, and the right thing is almost never the easiest thing". So, while we never expected to take in 4 kids at one time, a few hours later they showed up with pretty much the clothes on their backs and we now have 7 kids in the house and we are truly grateful for these amazing kids.

We already had a vacation planned and luckily the cabin we had rented had room for everyone including an older 5th sibling of theirs that we invited to join us . Unfortunately, we can't fit everyone in our SUV so we had to take two cars on vacation and now everywhere we want to go as a family we need to take 2 cars. We plan to continue to invite the older 5th sibling on any vacations or fun things that we do and if our oldest joins us as well, Amber and I will be travelling with 9 kids!

This brings me to why I'm on gofundme as someone who hates to ask for anything. We are asking for help so that we can trade in our SUV for a passenger van and just help in general, that vacation alone was a heavy hit on us but so worth it to see the kids light up in all the activities we did (ages 5-18 and first real vacation they've ever been on). Like I said before, I hate asking for anything and never ask for anything financial no matter how hard things get even from my own family. But I'm asking for help now as Amber and I have already bonded with these kids so much and want to be able to do all that we can for them and continue to take them on vacation with us and give them all the great experiences that every kid should have.
