Help Amanuel Yoseph Gebregziabher (Aman) Come Home, Heal, and Rebuild

Amanuel Yoseph Gebregziabher (Aman) came to the United States in August 2022 with a dream: to pursue higher education, build a future, and make his mother in Ethiopia proud.
As the only son of a single mother, he carried both responsibility and hope on his shoulders. In a very short period after arriving in the U.S., Aman worked multiple jobs while attending school. He pushed himself tirelessly, determined to succeed and to honor the sacrifices made for him.
But behind that determination, he was struggling in silence. The weight of isolation, financial pressure, academic demands, and emotional exhaustion slowly overwhelmed him. Far from home and without a strong support system nearby, Aman found it difficult to ask for help. Within just a few years of arrival, the pressure reached a breaking point. During this period of deep distress, he withdrew and disappeared for some time.
His mother, deeply worried and heartbroken, searched relentlessly for Aman. In desperation, she appealed publicly on @chebemedia and to the Ethiopian community in the United States for help locating him. By the grace of God and the concern and prayers of compassionate individuals, Aman resurfaced, but emotionally and mentally exhausted.
Today, Aman has made a courageous and mature decision. He wants to return home to Ethiopia. He wants to be near his mother. He wants stability, healing, and a fresh start.
Why Support Is Needed

For Aman, this effort is not about avoiding responsibility. It is about restoring stability so that he can responsibly rebuild his life with family support.
Transparency and Accountability
This campaign is organized by Solomon Seyoum Tesfaye, a long-time Seattle resident, in coordination with Aman’s mother in Ethiopia, and trusted community members.
All funds will be received by the organizer and disbursed solely for the purposes outlined above.
100% of net proceeds will go toward supporting Aman’s return, resettlement, and recovery.
Updates will be provided to ensure transparency and accountability to all donors.

አዘጋጅ፦ ሰሎሞን ስዩም ተስፋዬ ከአማን ቤተሰብ እና ከታመኑ የማህበረሰብ አባላት ጋር በመተባበር
አማኑኤል ዮሴፍ ገብረእግዚአብሔር (አማን) ወደ አሜሪካ የመጣው በነሐሴ ወር 2014 ዓ.ም. (August 2022) ነበር። ዓላማውም ከፍተኛ ትምህርቱን ተከታትሎ፣ የተሻለ የወደፊት ሕይወት መስርቶ በኢትዮጵያ የምትገኘውን እናቱን ማስደሰት ነበር።
አማን ለእናቱ ብቸኛ ልጅ እንደመሆኑ መጠን፣ በላዩ ላይ ትልቅ ኃላፊነትና ተስፋ ተሸክሞ ነበር። አሜሪካ በገባ በአጭር ጊዜ ውስጥ ትምህርቱን እየተከታተለ በተለያዩ ስራዎች ላይ ተሰማርቶ ይሰራ ነበር። ለተደረገለት መስዋዕትነት የሚገባ ክብር ለመስጠትና ስኬታማ ለመሆን ያለ እረፍት ይደክም ነበር።
ነገር ግን ከዚህ ጥንካሬ ጀርባ፣ በዝምታ የሚታገለው ፈተና ነበረ። የብቸኝነት ስሜት፣ የገንዘብ ጫና፣ የትምህርት ጫና እና የስሜት መዝለል ቀስ በቀስ ከአቅሙ በላይ ሆኑበት። ከቤቱ ርቆና በአቅራቢያው ጠንካራ የድጋፍ ስርዓት በሌለበት ሁኔታ እርዳታ መጠየቅ ከበደው። አሜሪካ በገባ በጥቂት ዓመታት ውስጥ ጫናው የመጨረሻው ደረጃ ላይ ደረሰ። በዚህ ከፍተኛ የጭንቀት ወቅት ራሱን አግልሎ ለተወሰነ ጊዜ ጠፍቶ ቆየ።
እናቱ በከፍተኛ ጭንቀትና በልብ ስብራት ልጇን ያለ እረፍት ፈለገች። ተስፋ በመቁረጥም ልጇን ለማግኘት እንዲረዷት ለ @chebemedia እና በአሜሪካ ለሚገኙ ኢትዮጵያውያን ጥሪ አቀረበች። በእግዚአብሔር ቸርነት እና በደጋግ ሰዎች ያላሰለሰ ጥረትና ጸሎት አማን በሕይወት ተገኘ፤ ሆኖም ግን በስሜትና በሥነ-አእምሮ ረገድ በጣም ዝሎ ነበር።
ዛሬ አማን በድፍረት የተሞላ የበሰለ ውሳኔ ላይ ደርሷል። ወደ ሀገሩ ኢትዮጵያ እና ወደ ቤቱ ለመመለስ ቆርጧል። ከእናቱ አጠገብ መሆን ይፈልጋል። መረጋጋት፣ ማገገም እና አዲስ ጅማሮ እንዲኖረው ይሻል።
የድጋፍ አስፈላጊነት
ወደ ቤት ለመመለስ አማን አፋጣኝ የገንዘብ ድጋፍ ያስፈልገዋል። በዚህ የገቢ ማሰባሰቢያ የሚገኘው ገንዘብም ለሚከተሉት ዓላማዎች ይውላል፦
• ወደ ኢትዮጵያ መመለሻ የአውሮፕላን ትኬት እና የጉዞ ወጪዎች
• ያልተከፈሉ የግል እና የትምህርት የገንዘብ እዳዎችን ለመወጣት
• ለአፋጣኝ ኑሮ እና መልሶ ለመቋቋም እና
• የረጅም ጊዜ መረጋጋትን ለማረጋገጥ የሚረዱ የሥነ-አእምሮ ጤና ድጋፎችን ለማግኘት

ብዙ ወጣት ተማሪዎች የማይታዩ ከባድ ሸክሞችን ይሸከማሉ። አንዳንድ ጊዜ ጥንካሬ ማለት ብቻውን መታገል ሳይሆን፣ ሕይወት ከአቅም በላይ ስትሆን የሚደረግልንን ድጋፍ መጠየቅንም ሆነ መቀበልን ይጨምራል።
