Hi, my name is Melissa. My mom, Amanda, has been through an incredibly difficult time over the past few years, especially the last few months. After losing her job and home in South Africa, she’s been doing everything she can to stay safe and get back on her feet. She is currently in a safe house, but can only stay there for a limited time.

Amanda is a kind, hard-working woman who has always cared deeply for others and for her animals. She’s now trying to start over - to find a small place to live, a job, and a bit of stability for herself and her beloved dog.

I’m raising funds to help cover her rent deposit, basic food and living expenses, transport for interviews, and dog food while she searches for work and rebuilds her life.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference and give her a chance to begin again with safety and dignity.
