Help Amanda and Her Wee Boy Rebuild After Losing Everything

I’m setting this up for my friend Amanda – one of the strongest, most fiercely loving people I know – who’s just lost her entire home in a fire. She and her four-year-old son, Philip, thankfully made it out safely, but everything they owned is gone.

Amanda works her socks off for the NHS as a paediatric admin and is raising her wee boy on her own. She’s independent as hell, a total whirlwind – when she loves, she does it with her whole heart. And Philip? He is her whole heart. Their bond is beautiful, and this has shaken their world.

They’re now starting from zero – no home, no clothes, no toys, no books – just each other. And while Amanda is doing everything she can to stay strong for Philip, this is a mountain no one should have to climb alone.

Amanda’s the kind of person who’d never ask for anything, but always shows up for others. Now it’s our chance to show up for her.
