️ Help Bring Year-Round Search and Rescue to the Palouse

Hi, I’m Austin Zimmerman, owner of Alpine Aerials.

I volunteer my time and drones to help find missing people and lost pets across the Palouse — from Lewiston to Moscow and beyond.

But here’s the problem: my current drones can’t fly in rain, snow, or strong wind.

That means I’ve had to postpone or even turn down search requests when people or pets were lost during bad weather — the exact moments they needed help the most.

I’m raising funds to purchase a DJI Matrice 4TD, a fully weather-sealed thermal drone built for public safety operations.

It can fly safely through rain, snow, and cold, detect body heat through brush or darkness, and stay airborne for nearly an hour.

This drone will allow me to search year-round, in any weather, and keep these missions completely free for families and local agencies.

Goal: $15,000 for the DJI Matrice 4TD and mission equipment (batteries, lights, and maintenance).
